Sanchez enrolled in ITAM in 1994 to study Applied Mathematics. He graduated four years. In 2011, he joined Stanford Graduate School of Business for executive education. He was actively involved in the Stanford Executive Program. The following year, he went to Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute for Software Research. His involvement in the institute was impressive.
Sanchez worked as the advisor to the finance secretary, Francisco Gil Diaz. He got an opportunity to work at the World Bank. As he was preparing to leave his post for the esteemed job position at the bank, Alfonso de Angoitia called him. Angoitia was the executive vice president of Grupo Televisa. He managed to convince Sanchez to join the media industry.
He became the director of Special Projects at Televisa for 8 consecutive years. His performance was remarkable. As a result, he was appointed the company’s Editorial General Director. After assuming duties, he immediately presented a proposal to, Rosanna Fuentes Berain, to improve the marketing strategies of the company. Rosanna was put in charge of the coordination of consultants expected to develop a project to win audiences, advertisers, and marketers.
His diligence led to his career rise. He became the director general of economic analysis and special projects of the Televisa Group. In this role, he made vital decisions in marketing and telecommunications.
He improved Televisa’s revenues to an approximate $10 billion. Additionally, the company has employed over 10,000 employees working all over the world.
